Middlesbrough Environment City (MEC) is an independent charity that promotes healthy and sustainable living using the ten principles of One Planet Living. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic officer to deliver a unique campaign.
Good Food Middlesbrough is a part of Sustainable Food Places’ Good Food Movement campaign, and aims to build a local thriving diverse community of food initiatives and enterprises, and help to create multiple opportunities for the wider public to engage more as active food citizens. The aim is that everyone will work together to help transform Middlesbrough’s local food system.
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the campaign including project planning and delivery, communication, partnership development, monitoring of outcomes, coordination with the project partner organisations and evaluation. It will also support 22 Carrot Gold, Middlesbrough Food Partnership’s bid for SFP Gold.
With a passion for a thriving, supportive and more resilient local food system, you will have the ability to motivate, providing inspiration and leadership to others. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills and a have commitment to sustainable and accessible good food for all.
