Clean Sport

UK Anti-Doping

Why Clean Sport?

Everyone has a duty to protect clean sport.

We want to know when we watch sport that it’s the real deal – that there is integrity in sport.

Cheating in any form undermines the spirit of sport and the efforts of clean athletes.

Protecting the right to participate in clean sport

UK Anti Doping are working to keep sport clean and fair and to keep Athletes and their support network safe.

We are really happy to let you know that during the COVID-19 pandemic UKAD’s Coach Clean online course will be offered free of charge. This course is a great introduction to UKAD and gives an understanding of the role that the coach has in advising and supporting athletes and club personnel. Even if you only work with beginners it is never too early to promote safe and fair behaviours in sport.

UK Anti-Doping is the national organisation dedicated to confidence in clean sport. Our role is to raise awareness of the issues of doping in sport through a range of different methods reaching the recreational and performance athletes within the Tees Valley.

We aim to help athletes, coaches and volunteers to understand and follow the UKAD rules, and protect everyone’s right to participate in clean sport.

Ultimately, we are working for everyone who loves sport – whether competing, training or spectating. Together, we’re creating an environment where all athletes know they can compete in the true spirit of sport.
