Tuition will be for 36 weeks during term time from Monday to Friday
All lessons are delivered between 9am and 3pm
23 hours per week (Mon – Fri)
Term Time Only
Hourly Rate- £ 9.609 plus holiday entitlement (April 2022 rate).

THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and reporting on Tees Active’s School Swimming programme.
Using Swim England’s School Swimming and Water Safety framework together with Swimphony (swimming software to facilitate the delivery, management, and evaluation of school swimming). The successful candidate will provide school swimming lessons for children in Key Stages 1 and 2.
ABOUT YOU
Candidates must hold:
Swim England Level 2 Teaching Certificate Swimming or STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming – Full.
Desirable evidence of Continued Professional development linked to the role
A valid National Pool Lifeguard qualification is desirable but not essential.
Candidates will also be able to demonstrate:
Experience of teaching swimming to all ages and abilities.
Sound organisational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
A good understanding of Swim England’s School Swimming and Water Safety framework and the National Curriculum requirements for school swimming.
