Little Musketeers, founded by former British Fencing Champion and Olympian, James Beevers, is looking for a part-time coach. There are also exciting long term career prospects for the right candidate. The part-time coaching role will start in September to work around the Middlesbrough & Stockton area to introduce the sport of Fencing in schools via extracurricular and curricula programs. All provision is essentially helping children develop their physical literacy at a primary school age whilst developing the fundamentals of ‘foil’ fencing.
This work will initially be casual and could be 5-10 hours a week which would grow as more schools take up our offering.

Established over 10 years ago, Little Musketeers teaches fencing based programs to 3000 children a week in over 300 schools.

START DATE: – Autumn Term 2021
Responsibilities:
– Running extracurricular clubs and PE enrichment lessons throughout the school week between 8.00am – 5.00pm
– Assisting with any administration such as club registers
– Running birthday parties during the weekends or holidays camps during the half term, Easter or summer holidays.
Requirements:
– A passion and career view for working with young children.
– Full clean drivers licence and car access is essential.
– At least 2 years’ experience working with primary or secondary school age children (our classes run in primary schools).
– Recent, enhanced DBS certificate.
– Based in Teesside.
– Current First Aid and Child Safeguarding certificates.

Salary: £10.00 per hour including additional fuel payments
