Food and Beverage Assistant, Casual, Part Time (Conference & Events)

THE ROLE

• Responsible for setting up function rooms for conferences/events and on match days
• Ensure impeccably clean glass, cutlery and crockery
• Welcome guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing customer satisfaction and delivering the optimal customer experience
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring multiple/additional dietary requirements are dealt with efficiently
• Help answer questions about food and drink selections with assistance from a Duty Manager, where necessary
• Clean and maintain function rooms/guest areas after use – clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to designated areas
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the team and support others
• Comply with all policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and GDPR and to respect and engage with our RiverSideBySide program for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

 CANDIDATES SHOULD

• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Be flexible and available to work daytime Monday to Friday and on matchdays (weekends, evenings and bank holidays)
• Be professional, friendly and positive, with excellent customer service skills
• Be able to work within a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail
• Possess good standards of personal presentation.
• Be an enthusiastic team player
• Be eligible to work in the UK
