(Full Time, Fixed Term Contract – 5 years)
Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity set up in 1996 by Chairman Steve Gibson. We use the power of the MFC brand to engage with the community to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults to maximise their potential to achieve.
The Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of a place-based scheme named Active Through Football. The overarching aims of the project are to increase activity and create healthy lifestyle behaviour change for targeted adult residents within Middlesbrough Wards (beginning with Newport and North Ormesby).
THE ROLE
Managing the project Delivery Plan & Budget, ensuring both are kept updated over the duration of the project.
Act as the main point of contact for the programme evaluation and data collection partners and fully engage with the Community of Learning to share/learn best practise with/from other Places.
Manage and implement the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning plan (including Key Performance Indicators & Outcomes), liaising with programme stakeholders as required and reporting against the requirements set out in the plan.
Line manage the delivery staff connected to the scheme.
Ensure project compliance with GDPR and organisational safeguarding and equality policies.
Travelling to key settings within the place and wider to meet the needs of the organisation and project.
CANDIDATES SHOULD
Be eligible to work in the UK.
Have a good understanding/familiarity of the target audiences and/or the focused area which the project is looking to engage with (inactive adults within North Ormesby and Newport).
Have previous experience of managing multiple pieces of work or projects to successful conclusions.
Be able to demonstrate a high-level understanding of inequalities that exist across socio economic groups in supporting active lives, how they intersect and experience of working to reduce these.
Possess excellent communication and people management skills and have proven decision making skills
Have a knowledge of budgetary control, data analysis and good IT skills
A flexible approach to working hours to include evening and weekend work
