To support children to stay active through lockdown, Chance to Shine will be delivering our first ever live streamed session for children across the country to join in with on Wednesday 13 January, 2 – 2.45PM. The session will be streamed via our YouTube Channel and you can click here for this session.
The first session will be a ‘Cricket Taster’, with three different activities to take part in. It will be led by Chance to Shine coaches and is suitable for children at home or at school to take part in. We believe that the activities can be accessed by pupils of all ages and our coaches will explain how to differentiate the activities during the session.
The activities are linked to the PE National Curriculum and will support children to improve their ball-striking, catching and throwing skills. If pupils aren’t able to join in live, the session will be available to watch back at the same links.
The activities can be completed indoors and children will need to find some items to use in the session. To take part you will need:
