£13 billion – the cost of 172 million working days that are lost each year to sickness absence
What have you got to lose?
One of our targets is to increase the levels of participation in Sport and Physical activity with particular focus on engaging sedentary people. Our Work Place Health Scheme seeks to support companies and businesses in enabling a more physically active workforce. We can help you to help your team.
Our business support package can be as light touch or as comprehensive as you want. Initial consultation and options proposal is free of charge and, where possible, we will try to help you to secure funding to take actions forward.
Provide an online mechanism for your team to record their activity levels and rate against colleagues and other companies locally and nationally
Carry out a needs and interest survey of your teams to help plan a programme that meets their and your requirements. Take a creative look at your work environment and identify where small changes will have big impact.
Identify local experts to deliver activity in, or near to, your work place setting
Support involvement in multi-agency fun activity days or events
Identify events that your teams can target and charities that they may want to support, to give an alternative incentive.
Share good practice from other agencies and offer ongoing support
Evaluate and review your programme
