Recruiting, developing, deploying and retaining our local coach, volunteer and leader workforce is at the heart of the work of Tees Valley Sport as we recognise and value the huge contribution that this workforce plays on enhancing people’s quality of life through sport participation and helping athletes reach their maximum sporting potential.
Our Coaching Development Manager, Victoria Auton works in close partnership with a range of organisations including; National Governing Body of Sports, Local Authority Sport Development Teams, Further Education Colleges, Teesside University and Local Leisure Providers to develop the Tees Valley Coaching Delivery Plan which includes a number of programmes that support our local workforce to meet the needs of local participants.
There are a range of programmes that are available to support our local workforce which can be found on the left hand side of this page. Please click on the programmes you are interested in for more information.
If you are a coach, leader or volunteer you will also find it useful to register on our one stop website for all coaching matters. It is completely free to register and provides regular updates on funding, courses, employment/deployment opportunities and the latest research and news. http://www.necoachandleadertvs.org
