The Sports Village, Middlesbrough hosted the School Games County Finals on Wednesday 19th June on a wet June morning which saw competitions in Panathlon, Athletics, Tennis, Badminton, Cycling, Active Schools Change 4 Life and Try-it sports. Unfortunately due to the wet weather the Quadkids athletics, Rounders and Volleyball were all cancelled on safety grounds. Over 600 young people took part representing their school and their district to be crowned Tees Valley School Games Champions.

3rd Place – Marton Manor (Middlesbrough) 38.5 pts

April 2019 School Games Finals Results

The Dolphin Centre, Darlington hosted the School Games County Finals on Wednesday 3rd April which saw competitions in Boccia, Swimming, Netball and Dance. Over 400 young people took part representing their school and their district to be crowned Tees Valley School Games Champions.

These events could not happen without the continued support of young leaders and volunteers. The leadership on show this year has been outstanding and these young people have made the Games what they are for the young people participating.
