Full-time – 37 hours per week, subject to flexible working
Fixed term, 2 year contract subject to funding (with a view to extend based upon continuation of funding)
Location: County Durham Sport Offices, however you will be required to travel within County Durham and occasionally regionally.

About the role
County Durham Sport (CDS) is looking for a well organised, flexible, outgoing and experienced Project Manager to join the team. The individual will have a comprehensive understanding of successful approaches to engaging more people into sport and physical activity, experience of managing externally funded projects, have a proven track record of developing effective partnerships and experience of understanding the needs of specific target groups.
The post holder will initially be responsible for the management and coordination of a range of Sport England and other external funded programmes including ‘Primary School Support’ as well as overseeing the delivery of a range of other educational and community based programmes.
