Funding opportunities available for 2018-2019 Suicide prevention grassroots community funding back to News

This funding is provided by the Tees Suicide Prevention Taskforce on behalf of Local Authorities (Hartlepool/Middlesbrough/Redcar & Cleveland/Stockton-on-Tees) through funding allocated by NHS England which is part of a number of initiatives that aim to reduce suicide rates in line with the national ambition of a reduction of 10% by 2020-2021

Criteria:

The aim of the fund is for voluntary and community organisations that are working within the Teesside area to develop and implement community based activities that will have a positive effect on the mental health and emotional wellbeing of local male residents aged 25-65 – particularly those people who are most vulnerable or isolated within our communities. Preference will be given to those projects that demonstrate innovative ways of engaging with men.
