The annual training of breeze leaders has been announced for the North East on Sat 14 March 2020 in Newcastle. This is a chance to join the brilliant @HSBCUKBreeze Network and lead local rides for women and give them more confidence to cycle.
It’s about fun and friendship, it can build your own belief in yourself and leadership skills and you’ll become a cycling expert in your local area. Commitment once trained is to lead one ride every 6 weeks (plus preparation of posting ride to online booking system and pre-riding to risk assess). Rides are for those who can already ride a bike and typically 5-25 miles.
You should be a competent cyclist and willing to work collaboratively with other volunteer leaders to deliver rides.
