Celebratory Event

We are delighted at the response to our Pass on Your Passion Project that aims to recognise and reward female coaches, leaders and volunteers as well as encourage more females to become active and become leaders themselves.

64 female coaches, leaders and volunteers of all abilities and all sports were nominated by the community across the Tees Valley for being inspiring females and for their passion to sport and physical activity. These females were all invited to attend a celebration evening at Middlesbrough College which included a 2 course dinner, guests speakers such as Sharon Gayter, Vicky Riley and Yasmin Ellahi as well as a range of goodies that were given to the ladies to say thank you for all their hard work. Following Pass on Your Passion we are keen to continue our support of female coaches, leaders and volunteers and we are looking to provide a coach bursary to financially support the training costs for females becoming coaches and leaders.
