| Course Description & Outcomes: | This course is designed to equip candidate to actively assist and/or support a more qualified teacher in teaching core aquatic skills. Candidates need to be 18+ (16 & 17 yr olds can attend if have one of the following: Sports Leader Award, ASA Helper Certificate or ASA/UKCC Level 1 Certificate). Staff will be expected to spend some of the practical time in the water but this will be minimal. This is a prerequisite course for Module 2. |
