The Regional Development Officer (RDO) has been appointed as part of the British Triathlon's commitment to delivering a world respected development programme. Funded by Sport England, these posts have a clear remit as outlined below.
The Regional Development Officer takes a strategic role in the development of Triathlon in the North East. This role will facilitate the opportunities for clubs, volunteers, coaches, race organisers and everyone who volunteers in Triathlon.
For example: Your RDO doesn't organise races, but will help a potential race organiser by discussing possible venues and finding the equipment to put a race on (scaffolding, electronic timing, etc).
Please find attached below information about the selection process for aspiring triathletes to be a part of the 2011 North East Triathlon Academy.
