The organisers were very pleased with the running of the event and they are looking forward to the next event which will take place in January and involve the Front Crawl, Butterfly and Individual Medley.
Jane Roche, Swimming Development Officer, said “this gala shows that clubs are working together for the development of the swimmers in the Tees Valley. Ability Galas give swimmers the opportunity to achieve awards for their times and try to best their Personal Bests". Jeff Stevenson, Gala organiser, added that “it was especially good to have swimmers mixing from different clubs within the Tees Valley area”.
The next Ability Gala will take place at Splash Pool on 21st January 2009.
