Coaches and teachers are vital to all areas of swimming. Here you'll be able to find out what training courses are running in the region to help you gain the qualifications you need to develop your skills.
Courses
Please see the flyers below for National Curriculum Training Programmes in the Tees Valley.
• 4th April - Module 1 in Middlesbrough
• 8th and 12th April - Module 2 in Darlington
Module 1 is for anyone that currently or would like to support the delivery of school swimming (no pre requisite required).
Module 2 is for those that want to lead a school swimming session.
A Level 1 Teaching Aquatics course is running at Catterick Leisure Centre starting on the 8th March, see the attachment below for more details.

Volunteers and Training
ASA Young Aquatic Organisers Award
This new award from the asa is aimed at 14 - 18 year olds to gain the skills and knowledge needed to organise fun, safe and effective activities in an aquatic environment.
