Exercise Referral and Rehab Schemes

Exercise referral schemes vary in their approach however they work on the advice from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence that identifies GP referral schemes as one of the four key initiatives to increase participation in physical activity. The schemes aim to tailor make programmes for participants to achieve goals set by the individual and they need support in achieving these from appropriately qualified instructors.
