No Strings Badminton New Sessions
Stockton No Strings Badminton goes from strength to strength with more sessions launched at Queen's Campus Sports Centre!
Queen's Campus Sports Centre have had over 90 people through the doors, trying a different approach to traditional forms of fitness across Stockton, so now the Centre are opening their doors to more people!
No Strings Badminton is a fresh initiative that makes it simple and extremely sociable for more people to welcome the benefits of badminton back into their lives, grab a racket and head out for a spot of convenient on court action. Since its launch in October, the Centre now sees 30 people regularly playing social badminton on a Tuesday evening, and is now launching a second session to cater for this overwhelming demand. Starting on Thursday 31st March, this session will run 6pm - 8pm every Thursday, allowing people to come straight from work, or pop home before they get on the court. The session is entirely flexible, which is one of the benefits a No Strings Badminton member can enjoy.
The beauty of No Strings Badminton is its simplicity. There are no membership fees, no contracts or hidden clauses to tie you down. These sessions, hosted at Queen's Campus Sports Centre, open up 'pay and play' opportunities for any adult of any age or any ability to turn up and have fun on their own terms. Christine Short, who is one of the newest members to Stockton No Strings Badminton said "I found out about No Strings Badminton through a friend. Everyone is really friendly, fantastic facilities, and I now play badminton to keep fit. I love that I have found a new sport I hadn't even considered before".
With a co-ordinator hosting every session at Queen's Campus Sport's Centre there's a guaranteed playing partner on hand each week and you can also join the No Strings Badminton social circle at www.nostringsbadminton.co.uk, which will serve up prizes and promotions as an incentive to get involved.
With no need to book in advance and with all equipment provided, No Strings Badminton is making it as flexible and affordable for Stockton's population to get active and back on court at times that fit their busy schedules. Whether you are coming back to the sport after a break, or want to try your hand at the most popular racket sport in the country, come have a go!
