New Coach Development Manager
We would like to welcome our new Coach Development Manager, Vickie Todd to the team who is tasked with managing the development of a local Coaching System Support Network (CSSN) across the Tees Valley in response to the needs of local, regional and national partners.
Guided by the UK Coaching Framework, the CSSN will lead the development of coaching in the Tees Valley and will consist of a range of key partners who have a common interest and are committed to enhancing our local coaching systems.
The CSSN will contribute to enhancing the quality of coaching at all stages of the participant pathway as well as supporting the provision of active, skilled and appropriately qualified coaches to meet demand.
Core functions of the CSSN will include:
• Providing a central point of contact and communication for all coaching matters
• Co-ordinating resources and expertise to maximise the impact of investment in coaching
• Providing a clear approach to coach recruitment, development, deployment and retention
• Maximising the impact of coaching in Education
• Aligning coaching interventions with National Governing Body of sport strategies
• Recognising and rewarding coaches across Tees Valley
