Mountain Boarding

Mountainboarding.uk.com launched this week to encourage more people to have a go at the exciting sport of mountainboarding. The site offers 'how to' guides, tells where to get lessons, and gives advice on buying a board, along with stories from people about how they got into mountainboarding.

The new website comes at a time when interest in alternative sports is at an all time high and with the Olympics fast approaching it's also a good time to get more children and young people into sports. Raphael La Roche, chairman of the ATBA-UK, the national governing body for mountainboarding in the UK, said, "With so much talk about healthy lifestyles and childhood obesity it's important for us to be able to offer this resource for parents looking for a sport that their kids will enjoy and actually want to do."

The website is a joint project between the ATBA-UK and Remolition, the online mountainboarding magazine, who joined forces to create the new website to get more people into the sport and ensure the UK continues to lead the field in mountainboarding for years to come. Mountainboarding has a friendly community of dedicated Centres and clubs that welcome new riders and the new website tells how easy it is to become part of the community.
