International Conference on Ageing, Disability and Independence
The International Conference will take place over 3 days between 8 - 10 September 2010 at the Sage, Gateshead.
ICADI will focus on approaches to support people as they age in maintaining independence in daily living at home, at work and in the community. The Conference includes an international cadre of presenters representing research and development, policy, practice and services, business, and consumer perspectives who will cover a wide range of issues related to the conference themes of age, disability and independence.
There will be many synergies with what is covered in the conference and work and initiatives being undertaken in the North East and it will be a great opportunity to share good practice and information on what is happening in the here and network with an international audience.
More information about ICADI and how to register can be found at: http://conferences.ncl.ac.uk/icadi/index.php, the draft timetable is attached below.
