Inspiring an Active North East Event, 20 September
Inspiring an Active North East
Monday 20th September 2010
The Durham Centre, Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, DH1 1TN
The forthcoming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games offers us a real opportunity to encourage everyone in society to get moving more. 'Inspiring an Active North East' is a free event aimed at anyone involved in organising and planning physical activity, showcasing how large scale events like the Olympics and Paralympics can help inspire new initiatives to encourage the uptake of opportunities to be active. Workshops include topics such as service redesign to meet the needs of new users in Middlesbrough, workplace activity, green exercise and engaging older people in sport and physical activity.
