Heart Research UK's 15th Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Walkers

Heart Research UK are looking for enthusiastic individuals or teams of six people or more to dig out their walking boots and get walking for Heart Research UK's 15th Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 18th June.  It really is a great opportunity not to be missed if only to witness the spectacular scenery that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a well-established long distance route which attracts walkers from right across the UK. It involves a walk of around 25 miles over three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, involving a total ascent of over 1,500 metres. It is not a race but the official challenge is to complete the walk in less than 12 hours.

There is no entry fee and no minimum sponsorship all we ask is that you raise as much as possible and have an enjoyable day.

A poster and application form is attached below which contains more details about the walk.
