Book your place on an Inspired Facilities Workshop

Places People Play

On 18 July Sport England will be launching Inspired Facilities - a key part of the Places People Play programme which will deliver a mass participation sporting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Through Inspired Facilities National Lottery funding will be invested in up to 1,000 community sports clubs. In advance of the launch,  you can sign up for a workshop where you will be able to learn more about the programme.

Inspired Facilities will provide relatively small capital grants to refurbish and improve the places where people play sport, improving their sporting experience and encouraging more people to get involved.

Workshops will be delivered in eleven locations across the country and there will be three two-hour sessions per day, each one targeting a specific audience:

  • 10:30am - local authorities, education establishments, parish and town councils
  • 2.30pm - Regional/local national governing body staff and county sports partnerships
  • 7pm - Community and voluntary groups and sport clubs.
To allow as many clubs to benefit from this session we would prefer if only one representative could attend from each organisation.

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please register early to ensure you can attend.

Please register by clicking on the relevant link below, and entering your name, organisation and contact details onto the email that opens up.
