Badminton Junior Helper Familiarisation Course

The Badminton Junior Helper Familiarisation Course will take place on Tuesday 26th April at Stockton Sixth Form College. This half day (3 hour) training course is open to teachers and coaches who want to deliver the Badminton Junior Helper Award. This is recommended for quality and consistent delivery, and is essential if the award is to be given at the advanced Gold Level.

The BJHA is aimed at young people from age 13 upwards. The course is deliver as a series of workshops (Teamwork, leadership, planning a session, organising, managing events) and is designed to present the early stages of leadership in a fun yet informative way.

The Course resources are: BJHA Delivery Pack (Tutor CD, Student CD, and LTAD Concise version, and Kicking up a Racket resource) and costs £45.

We are very short of Badminton Junior Helper tutors for this course in the North East, so if you have any questions or hesitations please let me know. This course is not common place to run, and has taken a long time to organise, so if you think you would like to tutor this course, or be qualified to deliver within your school or college, I would strongly recommend you taking this opportunity.
