What does the Forum do?

Discuss and debate key policy issues for the sector at a sub regional level
Help to share good practice, ideas and information
Oversee activities which strengthen the support available to voluntary and community groups not least by listening to the needs of its members
Represent the sector and lobby policy makers in Tees Valley and Regionally
Continually promote recognition for the work which the VCS does and its contribution to both social justice and economic regeneration of our area
Liaise and partner with other VCS bodies
Signpost to partners both within and external to the VCS
Provide a conduit to support the VCS (where applicable) in working with the public sector
