University of Teesside Courses
The University of Teesside offers a wide variety of academic and recreational sporting opportunities for students, including BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise (with named routes in Applied Exercise Science, Applied Sport Science, Coaching Science and Sport Studies), BA (Hons) Sport Management, BSc (Hons) Sports Technology, BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy and an HND Sport and Exercise and Foundation Degree in Outdoor Leadership.

The University also organises a large and varied programme of coaching courses that are ideal for anyone wanting to work in sport, or even to go on to study for a PGCE.
The courses are often available at a discount with the majority being held on campus or within close proximity. Sports/areas in which courses are available include soccer, badminton, volleyball, pool lifeguard, fitness instructor and outdoor activities.
We can also provide you with opportunities to get involved in coaching work once you are qualified, through volunteering opportunities and direct employment.
