Sports Coach UK aim to deliver a program of facilitated workshops nationwide in the form of coaches talent breakfast clubs, targeted at improving the knowledge base and skill of coaches working with talented performers.

The aim of the talent clubs are to develop a Community of Practice (CoP) for coaches, whereby a specific topic is delivered, followed by a facilitated discussion between coaches, which is led by a trained facilitator

Through the talent clubs, coaches are able to share their expertise and learn from other coaches to help them with:

• Problem solving

• Developing new capabilities

• Leveraging best practices

• Standardizing practices

• Time savings

• Increase in talent

• Avoiding mistakes

• Creating new knowledge

The talent breakfast clubs are aimed for Level 3 and above (or working towards) or working with athletes at a County or Regional squad level.

Tees Valley Sport have been selected to deliver the Sport Psychology talent breakfast club which will cover:

1. Creating positive learning environments

• Questioning and feedback skills

• Understanding your players/athletes learning

2. Team Dynamics

• How to coach talented performers within a team

• Leadership and creating leaders

The talent breakfast club will take place on Thursday 8th March 8.30am - 10.00am at Unity City Academy, Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough, TS3 8RE.

The talent club is completely free of charge to attend and you will also receive a complimentary delicious breakfast.
