County Durham Community Foundation works with a wide range of people and organisations to help them make a difference in County Durham and Darlington, although our expertise doesn't stop there! Thanks to the wide reach of the Community Foundation Network we can also help local people who would like to give their support regionally, nationally or even internationally!
The Foundation works with individuals & families, companies, trusts, public bodies and local authorities to run grant-making funds that are bespoke to the needs of each fund holder. Whilst each of our funds are unique, these pages should give you an idea of the way in which we could help you with your charitable giving, no matter who you are and what your level of giving is.
In addition, partnership opportunities with other voluntary sector organisations are welcomed. Click here to read about partnership opportunities.
Community groups, non-registered charites and registered charities are all able to apply to our many funds using just one main application form. Applications are mix and matched to the most appropriate fund behind the scenes, so you don't need to worry about which fund is right for you.
With the exception of the Banks Community Fund which has its own bespoke application form, all funds can be accessed using our standard application form. Please choose one of the options below to be taken to the application form.
To apply for a grant you need to read the general guidelines before filling in an application form.
